Travis Millman, entrepreneur-in-residence at the UConn Technology Incubation Program in Stamford, Conn., has been named entrepreneur-in-residence as part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation program at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ.

Conversations With Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Leaders, the live broadcast featuring members of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ administration, continued on Feb. 17 with Provost and Dean of the Faculty Lesleigh Cushing.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ has raised more than $40 million in the first half of the 2022–2023 fiscal year.

Misty Copeland, a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre, will address the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ community on Friday, April 14.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Day, Jan. 13, President Brian W. Casey fielded questions from alumni during the first in a series of live conversations on YouTube. The discussion focused on the Third-Century Plan, where it stands, and where it is headed. 

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ faculty members representing languages, philosophy, computer science, and biology gathered in the Hall of Presidents on Nov. 17 to discuss ideas for collaboration through the Robert H.N. Ho Mind, Brain, and Behavior Initiative (MBBI).

From Friday, Sept. 23, to Saturday, Sept. 24, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ hosted campus community members and alumni for a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance Center.

All Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ students from families with annual income levels up to $175,000 will have federal loans replaced with University grants as part of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Commitment, beginning in the 2023–2024 academic year — an expansion from the current income threshold of $150,000. 

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ broke ground Friday, Sept. 30, to celebrate the start of construction on the Benton Center for Creativity and Innovation, an anchor of the new Middle Campus, made possible through a $25 million gift from Daniel C. Benton ’80, H’10, P’10.
