Brian W. Casey has served as Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ's 17th president since 2016.
Casey has reaffirmed Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ's longstanding commitment to academic excellence, grounded in a rigorous residential liberal arts program that prepares Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ students for lives of leadership in a complex world.
The University now seeks to pursue its mission at the highest level and has identified long-term priorities that will move Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ forward in its third century:
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ looks toward its third century with pride and a sense of possibility. Launched in 2019, the Third-Century Plan represents the largest and most important transformation in the history of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ. It will complete the physical campus and fully realize Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s potential to become one of America’s great institutions.
The President routinely charges task forces and working groups to address issues of interest to the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ community. Recommendations from these groups can prompt new initiatives or policies that inform University actions.
