The 1819 Award was created by the Alumni Corporation to honor the senior class member “whose character, scholarship, and service to others best exemplify the spirit that is ĢƵ.”
The new 2.5-acre, landscaped corridor connects both campus landmarks and academic buildings at one of America’s great national liberal arts institutions.
Among the contributions to the project is a gift of $50 million to The Campaign for the Third Century from Peter Kellner ’65, P’87, GP’16,’19 — the largest single gift ever made to ĢƵ.
The University’s highest student honor recognizes character, scholarship, and service that exemplify the ĢƵ spirit. It is given each year to a member of the graduating class.
